Application and Operation
KN 100 HBA PLC is a PLC-controlled flash butt welder for band saw blades 20–100 mm wide. Stored blade recipes organize welding-current settings and the welding/annealing workflow for repeated production and blade-service work.

- 400 blade-size recipes with barcode-assisted selection; scanner supply/configuration to be confirmed.
- Automatic clamping-pressure regulation and calibration for the selected recipe.
- Automatic upsetting-pressure regulation and calibration.
- Welding current selected from the saved blade recipe.
- Manufacturer-listed welding and annealing cycle approximately 14–45 seconds, depending on blade size and application.
- Manufacturer-listed recipe change time up to 3 seconds; production setup and weld-quality checks depend on the application.
- More than 450 counters, including recipe and device counters and jaw-service reminders.
- Operator interface designed for quick access to production settings.
Options and Accessories
- Sensitive deburring accessory removes flash above and below the weld, leaving approximately 0.2 mm seam allowance. Four-sided carbide knives; operation during annealing can be enabled or disabled by the program.
- Liquid cooling connections for the HBA jaw and transformer circuit, with inlet/outlet shut-off connections. Confirm the cooling-system supply for the required production duty.
